It's a Chicken Licken Good Time About the Alabama Chicken and Egg Festival The Alabama Chicken and Egg Festival is an interactive agricultural experience offering old-fashioned fun, food vendors featuring chicken entrees prepared in a variety of ways, and live entertainment by popular regional bands and local favorites. This month is a traveling month for so many. When I was a young girl, there used to be only one designated week for spring break. We're gearing up for a new year of our annual offering of the Friday evening genealogy program - 'Sitting Up with the Dead'. For those who don't already know, we offer these three times a year on select Friday dates. They run from 6 PM to 11 PM and are held in the Heritage Room on the 3rd floor of the Main Library.
