According to the CDC, 2nd on the list of suggestions to prevent falls in seniors is a review of all medications taken with a physician.
The average senior takes approximately thirty five prescriptions and twenty four percent of seniors are being treated by five or mor doctors. The more doctors you see, the more likely you are to be prescribed medicines. Seeing multiple doctors increases the risk of over-medication, errors, and drug interaction.
