Tuesday night is our first fundraiser to help us "fullfill the promise to never forget". Last week I visited with Sgt. Ian Hogg, a Marine/Iraq vet who is in the final stages of life. Sgt. Hogg recently turned 30 and suffers from advanced A.L.S.(Lou Gehrig's Disease) While it's debatable as to how he got this dreaded disease, the chemicals he was exposed to in Iraq most likely expedited how quickly it's ravaged his body. Veteran’s Day Parade 2011 – Downtown Huntsville Huntsville, Alabama (November 09, 2011) Huntsville’s annual Celebration of Veteran’s Day will be on Friday, November 11, 2011.
