Princess Grace is our teacup poodle.  She was born on Dec 16th and shes y adorable!  We love having her in our house but if you say the word treat you better not be kidding!  We actually have to spell it when we are not ready to give her one.
Im just here to make everyone else look good!

Also, Banfield Hospital at PetSmart has a great monthly program to pay for your shots and normal tests and stuff.....I pay like 20 bucks a month.

I know right? She seems so big to me, but so small to everyone else.

Thinking about getting a dog.  I currently have a dying hamster (literally) and my boys are heartbroken over it.  I personally want a Yorkie.  I would prefer a teacup Yorkie, but a regular Yorkie is fine.  The thing is, I am on a budget.  I have to pay a pet deposit in addition to what the pup is going to cost me.  I'm willing to do it and I can do it, the question is, how bad do I really WANT to do it?  There would also be the grooming cost - I don't know if my Yorkie is going to have to be as babied as the Grace :)  And then, there are the cutesy things, like a puppy purse and clothes...  And, then there is potty training...

My son wants a boy and to name him Prince Charming so that Princess Grace can have a husband, lol!  I think that would be Prince Rainier :) And, Yorkie Poos are hot commodities :)

I have 2 rescue dogs. A 5 month old Miniature Dachshund, Wella (8 pounds) and a 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix up(lol) mutt, Charlie (45 pounds). They are best of friends and they sleep right next to each other ...always together and watching out for each other too! We found both dogs at 2 different rescues in the Huntsville area. There are so many wonderful dogs in rescues and foster homes I encourage everyone who is looking for a dog to look at one of the rescues first. For a small fee you get all the shots the dog needs , plus most will get them neutered or spayed too.

My baby, is Schroder (and no he cannot play the piano...we tried when he was little!).

He is black, white, and tan. He loves tug-o-war and playing frizbee (as well as taking walks). Recently, he finally had the chance to play tug o war with his new friend 20 lb his junior. He held back his strength in order to play with another pooch! Go Schro!

What are others' thoughts on the Huntsville dog parks? Schroeder has only been off leash with dogs he has lived with or visited frequently. He has had interactions with dogs on leash. He does bark, but is a coward. I'm a bit leery of taking him, though I think he'd have fun, due to his bark (and potentially scare other dogs). I've heard that they (the dogs) "work things out."

Here's my friend Schroeder, my family, who helped me grieve the loss of my elder border collie (and first dog connected forever, and his friend).
