I just posted a blog about Good Daddies, focusing on fatherhood in the early days. Extensive research demonstrates the critical role that fathers play in their children's lives. I want to know what you think it is that makes a man a good father? Obviously there are many factors to consider, and my hope is that we can create a good dialogue here in North Alabama about this topic.

So jump into the conversation and share your 2 cents worth about Fatherhood!

I know this is off subject but have you noticed the amount of single fathers that are on the rise?

A good father: 

I have two siblings. Dereck and Dillan. My Bio father's name is Douglas. He has been in my life for 17 years now. Times got tough just as much as any father daughter relationship but always in the end we hug each other and tell each other we love them. My sister had a different bio father then me and Dereck yet my father finds it weird when you said that because he treats her just the same, loves her just the same, and would do anything for her just the same. 

In the end I can say it dosent take much to make a kid it takes a heck of a lot to raise one and hes hanging in there even through our teenage years :)
