Christmas is getting closer and I can't help but think back to some of my earliest Christmas memories.  I remember my older brother waking me up in the middle of the night, swearing that he'd heard Santa on the roof.  I popped out of bed.  Looking back, I'm not sure why.  If Santa was on the roof, I'm pretty sure he would have had a bag of coal with my name on it.  Memories of decorating the tree, getting together with cousins, caroling, of special times with family no longer with us and of ones who I still have the chance to enjoy and spend time with.  Tomorrow is the time we've set aside for extended family this year.  Time to make new memories.
