Start a new Christmas tradition this year.  Take the family to cut your own live tree at Schwerman Christmas Tree Plantation in Lacy Springs. 

A visit to the farm is more than just picking the perfect tree to decorate your home this year.  Its a chance to build memories with your family and to learn about some memories that the plantation itself holds.  While you're there, the owners, Roger and Pat will be happy to share stories about the farm's history.  Stories about the Tavern that used to be lively with music and people where the store now exists, about the graveyard on the farm and the 50 souls who found their final resting place there.  

Take a walk around the farm and visit with Marshal Dillon and all of the other animals that call the Plantation home.
